* In **Tenant settings**, enable **Allow service principals to use Fabric APIs** for your tenant.
* In **Manage access**, test the service principal with **Admin** access on the workspace you are connecting to.

# Required Information

When adding a connection in Tamr Cloud, you are prompted for specific information for the connection type.

  The workspace name or GUID. The workspace GUID is available in the URL: `https://onelake.dfs.fabric.microsoft.com/<workspaceGUID>/<itemGUID>/<path>/<fileName>`
* Prefix (optional)\
  The prefix begins at the item (after the workspace). For example, in the URL above, the prefix is `/<itemGUID>/<path>/`.
