Product Update June 30, 2023

We are pleased to share the latest improvements in Tamr Cloud, including the documentation chatbot, new insights, improvements, and fixed issues.

Documentation Chatbot

We now offer an AI chatbot, trained on our documentation, to quickly answer your questions, point you to related resources, and help you realize rapid time to value with your data products. You can ask the chatbot questions in the top right corner of your screen on the documentation website. Additionally, see our AI Chatbot Disclaimer.

Attribute Insights

New metrics are available for your data products. On the Insights page, the Completion of Entity Attributes detail percentages for the completion of and empty values within your data product’s attributes.

Navigation Improvements

  • You can now view the Entity Details page in Curator for any entity.
  • We removed the Fields page. Instead, you can now use the Completion of Entity Attributes on the Insights page.
  • We removed some metrics at the top of your screen in favor of building out the metrics on our Insights page.
  • You can now Move records into other entities from the Source Records page.
  • You can now open any entity in a new window or tab from the mastered entity table.

Other Recent Improvements

  • The Entity Details page now appears as {token} Details, where {token} is a template specific identifier that you have selected. For example, if you are mastering customers, this page appears as the Customer Details page, where Customer is the customer you are viewing.
  • The Mastered Entity Details page has been renamed to the Attribute Overrides page.

Fixed Issues

  • Fixed issue with table views where user could not save views with filtered source datasets.
  • Fixed issue with table views where when user reset view, the column width and ordering did not reset to the default.
  • Styling improvements.
