What's New: Improved System of Record Management

A new System of Record Management page is available, replacing the RealTime Settings page. This update also includes two new workflows to stage changes and apply changes to the System of Record (SOR). These workflows can be used in place of the existing Refresh System of Record workflow.

Access this new page by choosing Manage System of Record on the Configure Data Product page.

On this page, you can create the SOR table for your data product.

You then can run the new Stage Changes workflow to review the types and number of changes from your batch data product run before promoting them to the SOR. When you are ready to promote the changes to the SOR, you run the Apply Changes workflow.

Both of these workflows can be run in the UI and via the Jobs API.

Updating Automation for New Workflows

If you have automated system of record updates through the Jobs API, you can update your scripts to take advantage of the new Stage Changes and Apply Changes workflows.

The workflow IDs for these workflows are available on the System of Record Management page and on the Configurations > Workflows page.
