Product Update July 18, 2025

We are pleased to announce a new settings page and workflows to manage your System of Record, improved value comparison logic for golden record consolidation, static inbound IP addresses, and other improvements.

Improved System of Record Management

For Tamr RealTime users, a new System of Record Management page is available, replacing the RealTime Settings page. This update also includes two new workflows to stage changes and apply changes to the System of Record (SOR). These workflows can be used in place of the existing Refresh System of Record workflow.

See What's New: Improved System of Record Management for details.

Improvement to Record Consolidation Value Comparison Logic

In all data products, we improved the record consolidation Value Comparison logic.

The Value Comparison option allows you to consider only records in which selected attribute values match or do not match specific values or the values of other selected attributes.

Now, if you configure a Value Comparison record consolidation rule to consider only records in which the specified attribute values do not match a specific value, null or empty values will meet the specified criteria. Records with null or empty values for that attribute will be considered when selecting the golden record value.

If you do not want null or empty values to be considered, add an additional rule to exclude empty values for that attribute as shown below.

See the Data Product Guides for configuration details.

Static Inbound IP Addresses Now Available

We now provide static inbound IP addresses for Tamr Cloud, available in the Managing Tamr Cloud IP Addresses topic. To ensure that users can access Tamr Cloud, you can add these addresses to the allow list for your firewall.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

  • We made improvements to decrease data product runtime for large scale B2C data products.
  • Guidance is now available for rotating API keys. See Best Practices for API Key Rotation.
  • Resolved an issue in which a maximum of 50 sources displayed on the Sources page.
  • General usability and performance improvements.
