Product Update August 23, 2024

We are pleased to announce job notification emails, as well as improvements to data products and Tamr RealTime.

Job Notification Emails

Job notification emails can now be configured on your tenant. Once enabled, Tamr sends email notifications for all successfully completed and failed jobs. These emails are sent to all users who are able to run jobs for that data product or source.

Reach out to Tamr Support at [email protected] if you would like to enable job notification emails.

Data Product Improvements

These improvements are available for data products built with the new configuration experience.

  • Source records address values that have been cleaned, standardized, and validated are now used as input to golden records, to ensure your golden records have the most accurate address data possible. The most valid address provided by the Address Standardization, Validation, and Geocoding service is used as the golden record address value.
  • You can now drill-down to more detail from Insight metrics.
  • You can now make a copy of a data product to test changes, or to promote the data product through lifecycle versions. When you save a copy of a data product, all sources and configuration settings are included in the copy. Tamr IDs are not copied to the new data product. See Managing a Data Product for more details.

Tamr RealTime Updates

The get record response has been updated with the second of two planned changes to make the response format consistent with the response format for other record endpoints. This change enforces the new format. See the Records Changelog for more details.

Bug fixes and other improvements

  • Fixed an issue for legacy data products in which failed jobs could appear to be stuck in queued state at 0% complete.
  • Fixed an issue in which, under certain conditions, the Sources page did not load.
  • Fixed an issue on the Results Summary Insights in which drill-down for completeness metrics was not available until the data product was run more than once.
  • General styling and usability improvements.
