Product Update January 15, 2025

We’re pleased to announce recent Curator Hub, 360 View page, and webhook enhancements and share upcoming improvements.

Curator Hub: Merge Records Confirmation

When merging records in Curator Hub, users are now prompted to confirm the merge. Users can mute the confirmation dialog for the remainder of their Tamr Cloud session. See our documentation for more information about Curating Records in the System of Record.

360 Views: Include Batch and Operational Source Records

For customers using a System of Record and adding records operationally through the Tamr Cloud APIs, 360 View pages now include source records added operationally and through batch processing - providing a complete view of the source records for each golden record.

If you include a source name and primary key when creating or updating a record operationally (recommended), the source name appears for the record on the 360 page.

Webhooks: Platform Notifications Available

All customers can now configure webhooks to receive notifications for platform events, including authentication, authorization, and job events. You can send these events directly into your organization's monitoring tools or automated workflows for immediate visibility into user activity and job health. See Configuring Webhooks for more information.

Coming Soon

Look for these updates planned to release in the coming weeks.

Job Runtime Tracking Improvements

The week of January 26, we plan to release improved runtime tracking for jobs that apply changes to the System of Record. Job state will remain in progress until all record changes from data product results are fully applied (or failed) to the System of Record (SOR).

What to expect

For a large-scale change, such as updating schema or adding a new dataset, expect the runtime for the Apply Changes job to increase. Once all changes have propagated through the system, runtime will return to the average duration for that data product.

Note that if your data product is configured to automatically apply changes to the SOR after refresh, data product refresh job time includes applying changes to the SOR.

Curator Hub Expanded Filtering

Soon, you will be able to easily filter and sort records in the golden records table in Curator Hub to quickly find records for review.

Additionally, we're adding more filtering options to the Suggested Duplicates and Suggested Edits curation queues.

UI Relationship Management

You will be able to create relationships between records in the Tamr Cloud UI. Currently, relationships can be managed only through the Tamr Cloud APIs.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

  • In the Admin Center, dropdown menus to select a user now include both the user’s name and email address.
  • General usability and performance improvements.
