Product Update December 6, 2024
We are pleased to announce improvements to data product configuration and and publishing, as well as other updates and fixes.
These improvements are available for data products built with the new configuration experience.
Automapping for Custom Attributes
When mapping source schema to a data product's predefined schema, Tamr automatically maps source columns to unified schema attributes with matching names. Now, Tamr also automatically maps source columns to matching custom attributes. Columns and attributes are considered a match when they contain the same words, not including delimiter characters, plural words, and partial matches. See the Data Product Guides for more information on configuring data products.
Option to Publish to a Single File
When publishing data product output to cloud storage connections (Amazon S3, GCS, and ADLSv2), the dataset is published by default as multiple files. You can now choose to publish the dataset as a single file.
Note that publishing to a single file may increase the processing time.
See Publishing Data Products for more information.
Additional License Information Available in NPPES Enrichment Results
The National Plan & Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) enrichment service, available in the Healthcare Provider and B2B Customers data products, now returns up to 15 provider medical license numbers and associated states. Previously, the service returned up to 5 license numbers and associated states.
Note that the 360 pages still show up to 5 license numbers.
See NPPES Enrichment for more information on the data returned by NPPES enrichment.
Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
- Improved clustering model in the B2C Customers data product. The model now more precisely identifies twins, with differences in national IDs and gender, and family members with shared contact information. See B2C Customers Data Product.
- Using the Jobs API create endpoint, you can now update the Tamr RealTime system of record using a Tamr-configured workflow. See the Jobs Changelog for more information.
- General performance, styling, and usability improvements.
