Product Update February 7, 2025

We are pleased to announce a number of improvements for connections, sources, and data products.

Connections and Sources Improvements

Support for Delta Lake Sources from GCS and ALDS2

In addition to AWS S3, you can now add Delta Lake sources from GCS and ADLS2 connections. See Adding Source Data.

Snowflake Key-Pair Authentication

We now support key-pair authentication for connections to Snowflake. See the Snowflake documentation for more information about key-pair authentication, and the Requirements for Snowflake topic.

Data Product Improvements

Multiple Address Support for Contacts Data Products

You can now configure multiple address types in the Contacts data product. See our What's New: Multiple Address Support in Contacts announcement.

B2B Customers Improvements

  • We have added Registration Number Type to the predefined schema as an optional attribute.
  • If you are using NPPES enrichment, the 360 pages now include attributes returned by the NPPES enrichment service.
  • If you are using D&B enrichment, you can now choose to use the values returned by D&B enrichment for specific attributes in your golden records. You can also filter the golden records sent for D&B enrichment by custom attribute values. See Configuring the B2B Customers Data Product.

New Attributes from the Address Data Quality Service

The Address Standardization, Validation, and Geocoding data quality service now returns attributes for the address sub-premise (enriched_address_sub_premise) and neighborhood (enriched_address_neighborhood). See Address Standardization, Validation, and Geocoding. This change is available in both data products built with the new configuration experience and legacy data products.

Improved 360 Pages for Tamr RealTime Customers

If you are using Tamr RealTime:

  • Your 360 pages now include all custom attributes for the data product, in a section titled Additional Attributes.
  • Your 360 pages for B2C Customer now include details about your source records and enrichment results from your batch data product runs.

Clustering Improvements

We are pleased to announce record clustering improvements based on customer feedback. See our What's New: Record Clustering Improvements announcement.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

  • Resolved an issue in which using the Save As feature to create a copy of a data product could result in missing attribute override values in published golden record datasets.
This occurred for data products in which golden record publishing had been configured before the data product was copied; when publishing the golden records from the copied version, the dataset was missing attribute override values. This issue will no longer occur when using the Save As feature. If you have existing data products and encounter this issue, you can resolve it by recreating the publish configuration.
  • General performance, styling and usability improvements.
