Product Update: October 25, 2024
We are pleased to announce a number of improvements to our B2B Customers, B2C Customers, and Healthcare Providers data products, as well as other enhancements and fixes.
Data Product Improvements
These improvements are available for data products built with the new configuration experience.
B2B Customers
In the B2B Customers data product, you can now choose how to perform company validation. Tamr validates that your company records are associated with real-world organizations. After matching a company to a real-world organization, Tamr enriches that company's golden record with attributes from your selected enrichment provider.
Company validation can be performed using either a corpus of public organization data (basic) or a corpus of both public and premium organization data (premium).
- Basic validation is faster than premium validation, and provides the best results when your company data includes mainly corporate headquarters.
- Premium validation is best when your company data includes mainly subsidiaries, franchises, or non-headquarter sites, and is required if you are using a premium, licensed enrichment provider.
See Configuring the B2B Customers Data Productfor more information about these options.
Additionally:
- You can now select Research Organization Registry (ROR) as an external enrichment provider. ROR is a global, community-led registry of open persistent identifiers for research organizations and their parent organizations. This service is included without additional licensing. See ROR Enrichment.
- The Pitchbook enrichment provider now includes a
pitchbook_company_id_with_location_index
attribute. This attribute provides the Pitchbook ID (PBId) with a sequence number that identifies individual locations when Pitchbook identifies multiple locations for a company. See Pitchbook Enrichment.
B2C Customers
The B2C Customers data product output now includes attributes provided by the email data quality service. If you have an existing B2C Customers data product, these attributes will be available in golden record display settings and in publish configurations after you refresh the data product. See Email for more information about these attributes.
Healthcare Providers
You can now configure multiple address types in the Healthcare providers data product. See What's New: Multiple Address Support for Healthcare Providers for more information.
Bug fixes and other improvements
- Fixed an issue in which, under certain conditions, duplicate golden records were created in data products using Pitchbook enrichment.
- Fixed an issue preventing Healthcare Provider data products with multiple address types from running.
- General styling and usability improvements.
