Product Update: September 19, 2024
We are pleased to announce an updated Jobs page, new data product configuration options, and Tamr RealTime enhancements.
Data product enhancements are available in data products built with the new configuration experience.
Updated Jobs Page
We upgraded the Jobs page! You can now monitor the status of all jobs, including manually run jobs, scheduled jobs, and jobs submitted through the Jobs API. With this upgrade, the last 30 days of job history was retained. All job history going forward will be included on this page.
Specify Data Product Entity Names
You can now specify the singular and plural name for the entities in the data product.
These values are used to refer to the data product entities throughout the UI. You can change these values to better reflect the data you are mastering. For example, the default values for the entities name in a B2B Customers data product are "Customer" and "Customers". You might want to update them to "Supplier" and "Suppliers", as shown below.
See Managing a Data Product for more information.
Configure Address Standardization for Your Data Product
On the Configure Data Product page, the new Address standardization options allow you to:
- Choose whether golden records include original the source address values or enhanced address values that have been validated and standardized by the address data quality service.
- Choose whether to standardize country and state values to their ISO 3166 country and state codes.
Important: These options are enabled by default for both new and existing data products created using the new configuration experience. You may notice that ISO country and codes are now used in your output data in place of the full country and state names.
See the Data Product Guides for more information about these settings.
Tamr RealTime Enhancements
- If your account is configured for Tamr RealTime, you can now enable data products for real-time search use cases, using a new setting in the UI. Once enabled, the RealTime datastore is refreshed each time you run the data product. You can use the search API operations to search for records in the RealTime datastore. See Configuring Data Products for Tamr RealTime.
- You can use the Jobs API create operation to publish the dataset from the RealTime datastore to a configured S3, ADLS2, or GCS publish destination. See Publishing the Tamr RealTime Datastore to learn more.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
In addition to general styling and usability improvements, we have fixed the following issues:
- In legacy data products, the Configure Flow > View Step Output page did not load.
- In data products built with the new configuration experience, bookmarks were not working correctly in the golden records table.
- Source Details Insights drill-down metrics did not load correctly.
