Product Update Summary - February 2, 2024

We are pleased to announce the new Tamr Cloud APIs and User Profile page, as well as feedback tasks and other recent improvements.

Tamr Cloud APIs

You can now interact programmatically with Tamr Cloud, starting with a beta version of the Jobs API. The Jobs API provides a programmatic interface to orchestrate jobs, including:

  • Refreshing a source dataset that has been previously added to Tamr Cloud.
  • Running a configured data product flow.
  • Publishing data product datasets to a configured published destination.

You can create and stop jobs, as well as check job status.

For requests to create new jobs, you must provide the ID of the source, data product, or publish destination. These IDs are now available in the Tamr Cloud UI, from the Sources, Configure Flow, and Publish pages (shown below).

Explore the Tamr Cloud API Reference.

Adding Feedback

You can provide feedback on records and clusters, and then users can resolve this feedback in Tasks. To provide feedback on a record or cluster, select it, then choose Actions > Add Feedback.

User Profile Page

In the top right corner, select your avatar then View Profile to see your account details. You can also update your password here.

Recent Improvements

  • The Actions menu has been reordered and disabled actions will be completely hidden.
  • On the Source Records page, records with pending verifications and pending verification removal were included in the "Is Pending Move To An Existing Entity" filter. They are no longer included there and now have their own dedicated filters "Is Pending Verification" and "Is Pending Verification Removal."
  • You can now edit every field in a given connection, except for the connection name.
  • General styling and user experience improvements.
