Editing Mastered Entity Field Values
You can override field values. You can also change or remove a field override.
In Curator, you can override Tamr Cloud-computed entity field values for the data products to which you have access. When overriding a field value, you can either select a value from one of the entity's source records or enter a manual value.
Tamr Cloud automatically updates the mastered entity data in Studio with the override value. Overrides persist in Studio and Curator when the mastering flow is re-run. The override value is also included in exported data.
Tip: From a record in Studio, you can open the entity directly in Curator by selecting Override Values.
To override field values:
- From the Menu
select Curator.
If you need to select the data product, on the Home page locate the data product and then select More ⁝ > Curator. - On the Entities tab, select the row for the entity to update.
You can sort and filter the table to find specific entities. - In the Mastered Entity Details tab, select
in the Override column for the field value to update.
- Select the appropriate source record value from the dropdown or enter a new value.
- Save the change.
The new value is listed in the field's Override column. The field row also includes the user who created the override, the modification date, and the source dataset for the override value. If the override value was entered manually and is not from a source dataset, the Source of Override value is a dash (--).
