Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) enrichment enriches your company data with a D-U-N-S number and data from certain D&B Data Blocks. This enrichment is provided through two mastering steps: D-U-N-S Match and D&B Enrich.

D-U-N-S Match

D-U-N-S Match provides the D-U-N-S number for each record for which a D-U-N-S match is identified in the D&B match reference database. This match is provided by the Company Entity Resolution D&B Data Block.

The results from this step are cached for 90 days after the initial flow run.

D&B Enrich

D&B Enrich provides enriched company data from additional D&B Data Blocks, based on the D-U-N-S number.

These enrichment results are cached for 30 days after the initial flow run.

For Supplier Master with D&B data products, D&B Enrich provides data from the following D&B Data Blocks:

• Company Information L2
• Hierarchies and Connections L1
• Diversity Insights L1
• Third Party Risk Insights L1

Requirements for Using Dun & Bradstreet Enrichment

You must be entitled to use the D-U-N-S Match and D&B Data Blocks included in the data product template, and a separate license (API key) is required. You can acquire this key through Dun & Bradstreet.

When licensing the API key, consider these requirements:

• At a minimum, the API key must provide access to the following Data Blocks:
  • Company Entity Resolution
  • At least one of the other Data Blocks included in the data product you are using (Company Information L2, Hierarchies and Connections L1, and so on).
• D&B steps are bound by a Queries per Second (QPS) limit. The standard D&B API license comes with 5 QPS, which allows 18k enrichments per hour. If your volumes, either during the initial data product set up or consistently, require higher transaction QPS, your D&B representative can work with you to make the adjustments to your entitlements. For example, 20 QPS allows 72K enrichments per hour.
