Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) enrichment enriches your company data with a DUNS number and data from certain D&B Data Blocks. This enrichment is provided through two steps: DUNS Match and D&B Enrich.

DUNS Match

DUNS Match provides the DUNS number for each record for which a DUNS match is identified in the D&B match reference database. This match is provided by the Company Entity Resolution D&B Data Block.

The results are cached for 90 days after the initial data product run.

D&B Data Blocks Enrichment

D&B Data Blocks Enrichment provides enriched company data from the D&B Data Blocksto which you are entitled, based on the DUNS number. These D&B Data Blocks include:

• Company Information L2
• Hierarchies and Connections L1
• Diversity Insights L1
• Third Party Risk Insights L1

These enrichment results are cached for 30 days after the initial flow run.

For legacy Supplier Master with D&B data products, D&B Data Blocks Enrichment provides data from the the four D&B Data Blocks listed above. For legacy Company Master with D&B data products, Data Blocks Enrichment provides data from Company Information L2 and Hierarchies and Connections L1.

Requirements for Using Dun & Bradstreet Enrichment

You must be entitled to use the DUNS Match and D&B Data Blocks included in the data product, and a separate license (API key) is required. You can acquire this key through Dun & Bradstreet.

Add your D&B API secret and key on the Admin > API Keys page. See Managing API Keys.

When licensing the API key, consider these requirements:

• At a minimum, the API key must provide access to Company Entity Resolution Data Block and at least one of the other supported Data Blocks.
• D&B steps are bound by a Queries per Second (QPS) limit. The standard D&B API license comes with 5 QPS, which allows 18k enrichments per hour. If your volumes, either during the initial data product set up or consistently, require higher transaction QPS, your D&B representative can work with you to make the adjustments to your entitlements. For example, 20 QPS allows 72K enrichments per hour.
