Connecting to OneLake
Limited Release Feature

You can configure connections to OneLake in order to:
- Import source data into Tamr Cloud.
- Publish data product data and System of Record data for use by downstream systems.
Add new connections from Admin Center > Connections. See Managing Connections for instructions.
Required Information for OneLake Connections
When adding a connection in Tamr Cloud, you are prompted for specific information for the connection type.
Gather the following information before adding the connection.
- Workspace
The workspace name or GUID. The workspace GUID is available in the URL:https://onelake.dfs.fabric.microsoft.com/<workspaceGUID>/<itemGUID>/<path>/<fileName>
- Prefix (optional)
The prefix begins at the item (after the workspace). For example, in the URL above, the prefix is/<itemGUID>/<path>/
. - Client ID
The unique identifier of the application. Also referred to as the application ID. In the Azure portal or Microsoft Entra admin, the client ID is available from Microsoft Entra ID > App registrations > [Application] > Overview. - Client secret
The password generated for the service principal in Microsoft Entra ID. This is available in the Certificates & secrets in the Azure portal or Microsoft Entra admin. - Tenant ID
The unique identifier of your tenant. In the Azure portal or Microsoft Entra admin, the tenant ID is available from Microsoft Entra ID > Properties. Also referred to as the display ID.
