Configuring S3 Access Key Authentication

Before creating access keys, configure S3 IAM policies for data upload and publish.

To configure an S3 connection with access key authentication:

1. Attach the S3 IAM upload and publish policies to users. See Adding and removing IAM identity permissions.
2. Create keys for users. See Managing access keys for IAM users.
3. Add the connection (see Managing Connections), selecting Access Key authentication and supplying the Access Key ID and Secret Access key.
