ROR Attributes

The Research Organization Registry (ROR) is a global, community-led registry of open persistent identifiers for research organizations and their parent organizations.

This service is available in the RealTime B2B Customers data product.

The following attributes are provided by ROR enrichment.

By default, each attribute is prefaced with ror_result_ when included in publish and curation views.

ROR Attribute	Description
match_result_tamr_enrich_id	The organization id (`org_id` ) of the matching ROR reference record.
match_result_match_confidence	The level of confidence with which Tamr matched this ROR reference record: Very high, high, medium, or low.
match_result_match_drivers	The attributes on which the record matched or partially matched to the ROR reference record (company name, address attributes, phone, registration number, website, and so on).
id	Unique ROR ID for the organization.
company_name	The primary name of the organization.
country_code	ISO 3166-2 code for the country that the organization is located in, from Geonames database.
country_name	Name of the country that the organization is located in, from Geonames database.
company_status	Whether the organization is active, inactive, or withdrawn.
established	Year the organization was established (CE).
preferred_isni_id	Preferred ISNI identifier for the organization, if one exists.
preferred_wikidata_id	Preferred Wikidata identifier for the organization, if one exists.
preferred_ucas_id	Preferred UCAS identifier for the organization, if one exists.
preferred_fundref_id	Preferred FundRef (Crossref Funder Registry) identifier for the organization, if one exists.
city	City that the organization is located in.
state	State that the organization is located in.
state_code	Code for the state that the organization is located in.
postal_code	Postcode/zipcode that the organization is located in.
lng	Longitude of the location, from Geonames database.
lat	Latitude of the location, from Geonames database.
link_1	Official website of the organization.
link_2	Official website of the organization.
alias_1	Other name the organization is known by.
alias_2	Other name the organization is known by.
alias_3	Other name the organization is known by.
acronym_1	Acronym or initialism for the organization name.
acronym_2	Acronym or initialism for the organization name.
acronym_3	Acronym or initialism for the organization name.
label_1	Name for the organization in another language.
label_2	Name for the organization in another language.
label_3	Name for the organization in another language.
parent_id	Unique ROR ID for the parent organization.
parent_company_name	The primary name of the parent organization.
