Queue Roles

A user’s permissions in a specific Curator Hub curation queue depend on their data product role and granted queue roles.

Queue roles include admin, developer, curator, and contributor.

In summary:

Queue admins have full access to the queue and items in the queue.
Queue developers can update the queue configuration.
Queue curators can view the queue and perform actions on the items in the queue.
Queue contributors can select the queue when suggesting merges from the Feedback section of the 360 page or when suggesting attribute edits from the 360 page.

Note:

User must also have the viewer or higher data product role in the associated data product in order to view 360 pages.
Users must also have the curator or higher data product role in the associated data product in order to suggest edits from the 360 page.

The tables below provides more detail on the queue roles inherited from a user's data product role, and on the permissions allowed by each data product role.

Queue Roles Inherited from Data Product

Within a data product, a user’s default (inherited) queue roles for queues in that data product are determined by their assigned data product role. Tenant, project, data product, and queue admins can grant users additional queue roles and remove granted roles.
